Not what I had ever envisioned for the Danse Macabre, but what an exciting, (scary) way to look at it. O.O It really works

For the freshness.

When you steep loose-leaf tea, it has (or should have) room for tealeaves to absorb water and expand as they infuse. This allows the water to flow through the leaves and extract a wide range of vitamins, minerals, flavors and aromas from the leaves.

When you steep tea in a teabag, its infusion is limited by the size of the teabag. Packing full-leaf tea into a small teabag won’t yield a very flavorful cup.

Very informative. I started drinking tea when I realized I can't drink coffee (makes me sick). I love it! It's so relaxing and it doesn't leave a nasty taste/smell in your mouth like coffee does. I only use tea bags for now but would love to switch to loose leaf. What is your reasoning for no tea bags? Just curious...
Your blog is great Keitaro! :)

Glad you took the time to write this. I also grew up with green tea as a child and no sodas. Its very healthy for you and its very calming for your body and mind. I began drinking espresso and coffee when I was getting my graduate degree in Chicago area working at a cafe/restaurant where I learned much about coffee beans. Yet, I think, I need a break from coffee beans for now. But, Japanese tea is something I like to research next. I have attended the Way of Tea drinking matcha in Kyoto wearing a kimono and sitting for 3 hours. I enjoyed the ceremony bitter taste. It was a beautiful experience. Again, this was a good reminder and as I write this, I'm drinking green tea right now too. ありがとう。

Wow, congrats! Twelve days sounds pretty intense, but what tremendous success you had! The only successful detox I've ever done was eating only fruit and drinking water for three days. The one you did does have a lot more variety so, maybe that helps make the twelve days doable. How do you cook Miso soup? HELP ME! :P
